Good morning teacher and friends, Today, I would like to talk about the Vietnamese lifestyle in the past and now, the differences between them, and the lifestyle I prefer. First, life in the past in Vietnam was simple and difficult. Most people lived in the countryside and worked as farmers. Their main jobs were growing rice, raising animals, and doing small trading. Life was poor, and there were not many machines or modern technology. People lived close to each other, and the neighborhood relationship was very strong. Children helped their families from a young age, and entertainment mainly came from traditional folk games. Nowadays, life in Vietnam has changed a lot. Many people live in cities and work in different fields such as technology, services, and business. Life is more modern and convenient with smartphones, the internet, and developed transportation. People have more chances to study, work, and enjoy entertainment. However, modern life is also busier and more stressful. So, what are the differences between the past and the present? The biggest differences are technology, living conditions, and daily lifestyle. In the past, life was slower and people were more connected to each other. Today, life is faster and more modern, but sometimes people are less close. These changes are mainly because of economic development and advances in science and technology. Finally, the lifestyle I prefer is modern life today because it gives us more opportunities to learn and develop ourselves. However, I think we should still keep the good values from the past, such as caring for others, sharing, and strong family relationships. Thank you for listening!
