    Much has been said about opposites attracting-one has to accept that it's more probably dirt on the floor that opposes attraction. I believe, on the contrary, that similarities in nature weigh more in sustaining a long drawn-out relationship. One must note that generalizations aside, persons with similar personalities or values will get along better. For example, introverts will cherish quiet home evenings, as loud social events might cause clashes. At the same time, with shared values, even the decisions become easier within a relationship, such as on the upbringing of children or on financial matters. And this will be enough to cement their bond, given that the interests are enough to be meaningful-coupled with hiking, traveling, or enjoying each other's company. Over time, shared experiences will serve to build memories, thereby strengthening their bond.
