will -> would, I -> she, my -> her vì chủ ngữ ở câu trực tiếp là "she"

 

2. I asked him what he would do if he had three days off.

Câu điều kiện loại 2 không cần lùi thì.

Cách chuyển sang câu gián tiếp khi câu trực tiếp ở dạng câu hỏi:

S + động từ trần thuật + wh-word (từ để hỏi) + mệnh đề lùi thì

 

3. She said she would have come to see Jim if she had known his address.

hoặc She told Jim she would have come to see him if she had known his address.

Tương tự câu điều kiện loại 3 không cần lùi thì.

 

4. He told me he was sure she would help me if I asked her.

Lùi thì hiện tại đơn -> quá khứ đơn

I'm -> he was, will -> would, you -> I

 

5. They said to me if today were Sunday, they wouldn't go to school.

hoặc They told me if today were Sunday, they wouldn't go to school.
