Natalie du Toit born January 29, 1984 in Cape Town. She is a South African swimmer with a left leg amputated and won a total of 13 swimming gold medals at the Disability Olympics. In 2008, together with Natalia Partyka, both were the first female with disabilities in the world to qualify for a regular Olympics and compete at both the Olympic and Paralympic Games in the same year. Du Toit gained fame after winning several gold medals at the 2004 Disability Olympics and the Commonwealth Games and becoming one of the most successful disabled athletes of all time.
