Dear Chloe,
The school year has just (0) …started/ begun…, but it seems like a fun one already. On
the first day of school, Kay and I found a flyer from the school’s sports club. The club has
different sports activities (1) ………… week. I always love outdoor activities, and so
(2) ………… Kay, so we both said, “Why not?”
The first day we went to the club, Kay and I met (3) ………… boy named Luke. He has
been in the club (4) ………… two years. He is very friendly. Then, we all practiced
basketball together. I didn’t know (5) ………… to play basketball, so Luke came to help. I
can play basketball now and really enjoy (6) ………… it. I can’t wait for the next activities
that I’ll have with the club.
