`-` Thay đổi về đại từ, thời gian 

 `+` now `->` then 

`+` this `->` that 

`+` ago `->` before 

`+` these `->` those 

`+` can `->` could 

`+` must `->` had to 

`+` tomorrow `->` the next day / the following day / the day after 

`+` yesterday `->` the day before / the previous day 

`(!)` lưu ý : 

`-` không thực hiện lùi thù nếu động từ trần thuật chia ở hiện tại 

`-` giữ nguyên thì quá khứ đơn trong câu trần thuật khi có mốc thời gian cụ thể 

Ex : People invented the telephonen in 1876 

`->` he said that people invented the telephone in 1876
