Last summer, my cousin Tom and I were camping in the countryside near our grandmother’s house. One clear night, while sitting around the campfire, we suddenly saw a bright light moving quickly across the sky. At first, we thought it was a plane, but then it stopped in mid-air and started flashing different colors.

We were shocked. There was no sound at all, and the object hovered silently before shooting upwards and disappearing. I felt scared but also amazed.

In the end, we told our grandmother, but she just smiled and said, “You’re not the first to see it here.” I still don’t know what it was, but I’ll never forget that night.
