- Một số tính từ bất quy tắc có cách so sánh riêng, không tuân theo quy tắc

` @ ` Ví dụ như: good - better - best; bad - worse - worst; far - farther/further - farthest/furthest...

- Đối với những tính từ ngắn ( một âm tiết ) thường thêm đuôi -er để tạo thành so sánh hơn và đuôi -est để tạo thành so sánh hơn nhất

- Đối với những tính từ dài hơn ( hai âm tiết trở lên ) thường dùng " more"  và " the most " trước tính từ để tạo thành so sánh hơn nhất

- Tính từ 2 âm tiết tận cùng là " -er "; " -ar "; " -y "; " -le "; " -ow "; " -et " thì thường thêm đuôi -er và đuôi -est để tạo thành so sánh hơn nhất
