Writing : People living in the 21st century have a better quality of life than the previous centuries. To what extent do you agree or disagree

It's usually thought that people living in the 21st century have a much better quality of life than in the previous centuries. I strongly agree with this statement because people now receive better healthcare and education.
Nowadays, technology plays a vital role in helping people revolutionise how we live. Technology helps with the advancements in various fields, especially in medicine, we are now equipped better to deal with health problems like flu and severe injuries that were more prevalent in the past. Moreover, technology also helps us to achieve things which are only mentioned in science fiction but now are in reality, the aeroplane for example.

On the other hand, we also reap benefits from a better education. There are more choices for us to study and more schools to contribute to better education. The lessons, such as history can teach us the importance of freedom and equality when Africans were treated like products from the 15th century to the 19th century. The discriminations still exist but humanity is gradually developing to build a more civilized society.

In conclusion, people's living has improved significantly due to the quality of education and healthcare although it still has a challenge ahead. We still need to respect what our ancestors have done to build a better world for us to live in.
