Exercise 9: Describe what people in your family do every day. Look at the ideas below. Spend a few minutes thinking about what to say. Talk about: what they do who they do it with where they do it how often they do it. Remember: to use the correct verbs forms to put adverbs in the correct place in the sentences you can invent things if you like!

In my family, my parents wake up early every day at 6 am. They have breakfast together in the kitchen before heading off to work. My mom works as a nurse at the local hospital, and she spends her days taking care of patients. My dad is a teacher at the local high school, and he teaches history to his students. After work, my parents come home and have dinner together as a family. We usually eat in the dining room and talk about our day. Sometimes, we go for a walk in the park nearby to relax and unwind. On weekends, we often do things together as a family. We might go hiking in the mountains, have a picnic at the beach, or visit our relatives in the countryside. Family time is important to us, and we try to make the most of it whenever we can.
