S + be + a/an + ADJ + N số ít 

2. Mary wishes she had enough free time to visit her old friends.

S + wish(es) + S+ V2/ed : ước ở hiện tại 

3. I have just been given a new bicycle by my uncle.

S + has/have + been + V3/ed (thì HTHT - bị động)

4. Minh spends two hours doing his homework every day.

S + spend(s)/spent + time + Ving: ai dành bao nhiêu thời gian để làm gì 

EX12:

1. Although Giang was sick today, she went to school.

Although + S+ V+ O, S + V + O: mặc dù 

2. English is spoken all over the world.

S + am/is/are + V3/ed (thì HTĐ - bị động)

3. The student who is living with me now is very intelligent.

N (người) + who + V 

4. Lan said that she would be very busy the next day.

Câu tường thuật - dạng câu kể 

S + said + (that) + S + V (lùi thì)

will --> would 

tomorrow --> the next day 

EX13:

1. If she worked hard, she could pass the exam.

If loại 2: If + QKĐ, S + could/would + V1 

2. He is such a young boy that he can't drive a car.

S + be + such + (a/an) + ADJ + N + that + S + V : quá... đến nỗi
