`11.` The girl who was injured in the accident, is now in hospital. (who = she = the girl)

`12.` A man who answered the phone, told me you were away. (who = he = a man)

`13.` A waitress who served us was very impolite and impatient. (who = she = a waitress)

`14.` A building which was destroyed in the fire, has now been rebuilt. (which = a building = It)

`15.` Some people who were arrested, have now been released. (who = some people = they)

`16,` A bus which goes to the airport, runs every half an hour. (which = a bus = It)

`17,` Peter who has been abroad, is studying French and German. (who = Peter = He)

`18,`  You've all meet Michael Wood, who is visiting us for a couple of days. (who = He = Michael Wood)

`19,` We are moving to Manchester, which is the North West. (which = Manchester) 

`20,` I'll stay with Adrian, whose brother is one of my closet friends. (whose = his brother = Adrian)

`21,` John Bridge who has just gone to live in Canada, is one of my oldest friends. (who = He = John Bridge)

* Mệnh đề quan hệ giống như một tính từ bổ sung ý nghĩa cho dnah từ hoặc tính từ trước nó. No bắt đàu với các đại từ tương đối như: who, which, that, where, when, whose, whom, whoever, ... và cũng là chủ thể của mệnh đề.

- Các đại từ quan hệ:

+ Who (+ V/ + S + V) - Thay thế cho danh từ chỉ người, làm chủ ngữ và tân ngữ của mệnh đề phụ. 

+ (preposition +) Which (+ V/ + S + V) - Thay thế cho danh từ chỉ "vật" - làm chủ ngữ và tân ngữ của mệnh đề phụ . Thay thế cho mệnh đề đứng trước nó.

+ Whose (+ N) - Thay thế có tính từ sở hữu (her, his, their,... hoặc 's) , dùng cho cả người và vật. Whose + N = The + danh từ + of which
