Opinions are divided as to whether we should shop, work and communicate with others via the Internet instead of face to face communication or not. While I accept that shop, work and communicate with others via the Internet instead of face to face communication has some obvious benefits, I would argue that shop, work and communicate with others via the Internet bears unfavourable aspects are greater, and the therefore it should come under scrutiny.

On the one hand, I agree with the point of view that shop, work and communicate with others via the Internet bears some favourable aspects. The most obvious benefits is that people can reduce travel cost and convenience their shop, work and communicate. Almost the consumer’s home, and they just need to pay for shipping fee, which is always cheaper and sometime there is some promotion so the product’s price can be discounted

On the other hand, I hold the opinion that shop, work and communicate with others via the Internet exerts far more negative impacts and should not be put into practice. To begin with, human beings nowadays are losing direct interactions with others. As an illustration, offspring spend  little time talking to their parents because they are too busy on social media or playing games. Therefore, they are afraid of interacting with other people around, and they will lack personal skills namely teamwork skills, and solving-problem skills as well as a lack of environment to develop themselves. Moreover, another harmful aspect is the diminished physical. The concentration in the virtual world makes the human races become sedentary, and have little communication with the outside world, which leads to a huge number of health problems like obesity, and cardiovascular diseases. In recent research by the University of Sydney, scientists found that when children watch TV or sit on the computer for hours, the heir will have narrowed blood vessels, a warning about cardiovascular diseases and blood pressure in the scion.

In conclusion, although I opine shop, work and communicate with others via the Internet instead of face to face communication has several positive features, I am strongly convinced that shop, work and communicate with others via the Internet instead of face to face communication takes it toll on, therefore should be carefully examined.
