The flood is the most popular type of natural disasters in the world. One of the biggest floods in Vietnam is the flood occurring in Binh Dinh on November 30, 2016. There were 5 major floods with heavy rains. At first, it wasn’t raining much, but the rain only became heavier after that. That flood caused many serious effects on people life. There were 35 people dead and missing because of the flood. 8 houses were destroyed and over 97,000 houses damaged. More than 128 kilometers of road was destroyed. The flood caused a lot of damage to soil and winter- spring rice crops. Over 200,000 heads of cattle and poultry of resident here were dead and injured. Besides, flood brought many wastes and garbage from ditches, ponds, residentcal areas, waste disposal areas to domestic water source. The flood has caused many negative effects on people’s lives. So the government supported money to people in Binh Dinh to buy seeds. They send rescue workers to free people who were trapped in floods homes. When the heavy rain had stopped, they cleared up the debris and mud. Many people who left without homes were taken to a safe  temporary accommodation. Besides, medical supplies, foods, rescue equipment,...were sent by government and many residents from many provinces.
