Personally, I agree but also disagree with that statement at the same time. First, let's talk about the reason why I agree about it. Personal electronic devices are useful in classes as you can search things that you don't know such as difficult math quizzes, strange English words, etc. With these devices you can study better and get great result in school. However, there are also bad things about personal electronic devices. If you don't use it properly, you can easily get distracted by games and chatting with each other leading to a bad result in studying. Therefore, using personal electronic devices in classes can be helpful or not depending on the user so I think they shouldn't be allowed to use in class yet as most students get distracted by games in class.
