Hung Temple Festival or Hung Kings Anniversary has become one of the biggest festivals in VietNam for a long time. It is held every year from the 8th to the 11th day of the third lunar month. The most important time of the festival is on the 10th. Every year in the third lunar month, each VietNamese person turns to Nghia Linh mountain, Hy Cuong commune, Lam Thao district, Phu Tho province to remember their ancestors , Hung King. The main activities are: offering Hung King, bamboo swing, lion dance, wrestling and Xoan singing. I like this festival very much because it is very meaningful and I also like how funny it is. Participating in the pilgrimage to the ancestral land of Hung Temple in these days has become a beautiful tradition of VietNamese people.
