What do you think about equality between women and men in the present?

I think that in the present, men and women are not equally treated, despite our efforts to make them equal. As much as we say that this is a modern era, where everyone is given equal opportunities, there still exist certain stereotypes. There is no denying that women have achieved greater heights in today's world, but there are still a lot more things yet to be achieved. Though women have excelled in every field and proved their worth, they are still looked down upon by some of the men. Women are considered inferior to men because of their gender and the society has never accepted them as an equal to men. Men feel that they have to protect women at all times because they cannot take care of themselves. They are always thought of as weak and if they try to prove themselves otherwise, they are often mocked at or ridiculed. Even though we have worked hard towards bringing equality between the two genders, there still exists some sort of inequality because of which women feel inferior about themselves.
