Night fell quickly, all over the street, houses were lit. Sparkling light. But just a few minutes later, the full moon rose. My whole family gathered on a small mat placed in front of the porch, watching the moon. My friends and I in the neighborhood gathered in groups of five, seven, and lined up in a row of dragons and snakes to process the lanterns to break the Mid-Autumn Festival. The star paper lanterns, carp lights... with flickering fire and moonlight as one. Bored of playing, we broke the deck together. Sometimes when I look up, I feel like they're smiling at us, then reach for a piece of candy I've left for them. The night was also late, the moon was getting higher and higher and lighter. Suddenly a dark cloud flew from nowhere to obscure the moonlight, breaking the bustling atmosphere. The fun must be over, we return the quiet atmosphere to the night, although everyone does not want to leave that moonlit night. Back home, everyone wishes to go back in time to enjoy the excitement of moonlit nights like tonight.
