I love Tet. Tet typically takes place at the end of January or the start of February. Everyone in the family cleans and organizes the house and garden before Tet. Additionally, they use parallelism and peach or apricot blossoms to adorn the home. Some families celebrate Tet by cooking traditional dishes.  Children, in particular, look forward to the Tet holiday because it allows adults to grant them wishes for the coming year in the form of lucky money. Tet is a time for everyone in Vietnam to get together after a year of hard work outside.
