A  few years ago, I joined a group, whose members share a common interest very passionately - reading books. This group has encouraged us to read books by famous authors of different eras. The name of the group was ‘Let's Enlighten’ and it was a non-profit organisation that had a good collection of books from around the world. It also encouraged us to share our own books so that others can read them too.

I joined the group when I was a college student and was living in my hometown. It would be around 9 years ago and I was around 16 years old then. There were more than 80 members in this group and we used to meet at the group’s library complex. There were several rooms and a large library and we used to gather there once a week in the evening.

I enjoyed being a member of this group because if offered the opportunity to meet interesting and talented people who loved to read books. They liked to share their experience, recommendations, and interesting insights on different books and authors. We even met some famous authors who were very bright and creative people who had an uncanny style of telling stories. Because of my membership in this club, I could take books to my home from their library and that helped me read many books that I believe I would not have read otherwise. Moreover, many senior members explained the writing styles of famous writers and the main themes of many books which encouraged me to read them and explore the work of an era or author. I still feel that I was lucky to be a part of this group.
