Giải thích:

"used to" tả một chuyện đã từng xảy ra trong quá khứ và không còn ở hiện tại. 

Dạng phủ định của "used to": "didn't use to" 

Dạng nghi vấn của "used to": "Did + S + use to"

Sau cả 3 dạng trên của "used to" luôn dùng V-infinitive.

Ex IX:

1. The farmer married again after his wife died.

2. The new wife was unfortunately very cruel to Little Pea.

3. She used to cook the meals, clean the house, and wash clothes.

4. The prince wanted to choose his wife from the village.

5. The tiger wanted to know why the strong buffalo was the servant.

6. He tied the tiger to a tree with a rope because he didn't want it to eat the buffalo.

7. Little Pea's mother died when she was young.

8. The prince found Little Pea's lost shoes.

9. A fairy appeared magically changed Little Pea's rags into beautiful clothes. 

10. Mom had to do everything without the help of modern equipment.
